Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a busy, well-established outpatient Gastroenterology clinic in Fayetteville, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys building long‑term patient relationships, practicing at the top of their license, and working collaboratively with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team.
You will play an integral role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered GI care, supported by experienced gastroenterologists, dedicated clinical staff, and efficient clinic operations designed to promote work‑life balance.
APP will work primarily with a supervising gastroenterologist who provides close, hands‑on supervision, mentorship, and ongoing teaching. This position offers a strong educational environment and is an excellent opportunity for an APP who wishes to develop deep expertise and become a highly skilled gastroenterology APP over time.

- Review diagnostic testing, labs, and imaging
- Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- GI experience preferred; strong interest in gastroenterology encouraged
- Current or eligible North Carolina licensure
- BLS/ACLS certification as appropriate
- Strong communication skills and patient‑centered approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
