Fayetteville State University (FSU), is seeking a passionate educator for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Forensic Sciences. This position will teach courses in forensic science and general biology, develop and teach new courses in the Forensic Science Program, advise/mentor students, serve in department, college, and university committees, and assist in building and maintaining professional relationships with local, regional, and national laboratories and law enforcement agencies.

In addition, the successful candidate is expected to establish an active, externally funded research program in Forensic Science involving undergraduate students.

About the Team

The Department of Biological and Forensic Sciences is an academic unit within the Lloyd College of Health, Science, and Technology, seeking to serve a diverse student body, including military and international students, through effective teaching, active scholarship, and service-learning activities. The Department of Biological and Forensic Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science in Biology with concentrations in prehealth, organismal biology, or molecular biology/biotechnology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Sciences.

The Department offers a minor program in Biology and Biotechnology. The Department has more than four hundred enrolled undergraduate students and seventeen (17) tenured, tenure-track, or lecturer faculty members.
