Adaptive Program Instructor

• Take responsibility for the health, well-being and happiness of participant
• Encourage respect for personal property, equipment and facilities
• Set a good example for participants in all areas
• Supervise, assist instructors and actively participate in all aspects of the participants’ day.
• Assist staff with participant’s toileting and feeding needs.
• Work as a team with other staff
• Monitor social interactions between participants and public, assess for appropriate behavior

Education and Experience:

or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Experience working with Special Needs recommended
• Ability to interact with all ages and ability levels

• Has or is able to obtain current CPR/FA Certification approved by Massachusetts State Health Department.
• Must fill out CORI/SORI form

This position is Grade 1 of the Town’s Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $16.00 to $16.98 based upon qualifications and experience.
