Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group instruction in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create customized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and school performances, and support instrument rentals and accessory sales. You'll collaborate with store staff and school service reps, maintain accurate schedules and student progress records, and help create a welcoming, student-focused environment that supports music education and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans aligned with student goals and school needs
• Prepare students for recitals, school performances, and auditions
• Maintain accurate lesson schedules, attendance, and student progress records
• Collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support music education programs
• Advise students and parents on instrument rentals, purchases, and accessories
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, student-focused learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
• Uphold Music & Arts teaching standards and policies
• Participate in store events and community outreach related to music education
