Senior Equipment Repair Technician

Description

Maintain, Service, Repair, and Calibrate over 3,000 pieces of unique commercial off the shelf and military equipment that is purpose built for U.S. Army Special Operations. This includes a wide range of equipment that requires in-depth knowledge of Flame Spectroscopy, Ion Mobility Spectrometry, Light Sensitation, and Detection Equipment that monitors neutron flux levels. Responsible for maintaining and developing protocols for special calibration gas and volatile organic compounds used for detector calibration.

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of experience working in a related field.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a SECRET clearance.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Experience working with Special Operations.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

This position requires a government security clearance; applicants must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Position is located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The employee may work part of the schedule remotely and part of the schedule on site at a Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. The schedule for this position is a non‑standard 40‑hour work week as assigned by leader.
