Chemical Engineer Co‑op – Manufacturing Technology Team (Fayetteville, NC)
Job SummaryThe Chemical Engineer Co‑op reports directly to the Manufacturing Technology Manager and works closely with Technology and Operations teams to gain hands‑on experience in a chemical plant. Responsibilities include participating in process improvement, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, process safety activities, and contributing to team meetings and vendor collaborations.
Responsibilities- Work with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects
- Assist operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and problem solving
- Participate in process safety management activities and reviews
- Contribute to team meetings and conference calls
- Implement process improvements through a management of change process
- Collaborate with external vendors to specify new and replacement equipment
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or above at time of assignment
- Enrollment toward an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom
- 3.0 GPA or above

- Position exceeds 40 hours per week on a regular full‑time schedule
- Preferred first term:
