Senior Equipment Repair Technician

** Maintain, Service, Repair, and Calibrate over 3,000 pieces of unique commercial off the shelf and military equipment that is purpose built for U S  Army Special Operations

This includes a wide range of equipment that requires in depth knowledge of Flame Spectroscopy, ION Mobility Spectrometry, Light Sensitation, and Detection Equipment that monitors neutron flux levels

This position supports our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U S  Special Operations Command's  USSOCOM  largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services  Learn more here: SOF GLSS

MUST BE A U S  CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U S  government contract that requires a company sponsored clearance to start

Responsible for maintaining and developing protocols for special calibration gase, volatile organic compounds used for deterctor calibration

* Basic Qualifications:

* BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5  years' experience working in related field

Must be able to obtain and retain a SECRET clearance

Must be able to lift 50lbs

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility  The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process

** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
