Senior Project Manager
The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in the Stormwater Division to perform advanced and highly complex professional stormwater, environmental science, and civil engineering-related work in the planning, analysis, and management of watershed and stormwater infrastructure projects and programs. Manage multiple large and complex projects, oversee hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and environmental analyses, and provide technical leadership and supervision within the Stormwater Division.
Coordinate cross-functional and programmatic activities, supporting implementation of stormwater policies and initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:
Five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in stormwater management, water resources, environmental science, civil engineering, or related field, including experience in project management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, watershed planning, or environmental analysis. Experience leading complex projects, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and providing technical oversight is required. Supervisory or lead experience is preferred. Training:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in environmental science, water resources, civil engineering, biological and agricultural engineering, environmental engineering, geography, or a related field. LICENSING &
CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability. Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Floodplain Manager, Engineer in Training (EIT) or EIT equivalent. Preferred:
North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain through reciprocity or comity. From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last 4 - 6 weeks. The process will consist of a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and driving history check.
