Operations Manager, Process Engineer
What You Will Do
Be the operations focal point for Mod and Upgrade (MAU) Program Management Teams (PMT) within Interiors S&A operations. This includes, but is not limited to, involvement in producing quoted kit cost, make versus buy decisions, system part set up, program test kit supply acquisition, and operations support.
- Make decisions, set up and costing will require collaboration across the global operations sites.
- Improvement targets will require cross‑site, as well as cross‑functional, collaboration between functions, including but not limited to program management, supply chain, operations, pricing, and finance.
- Process improvements and increased efficiencies related to the MAU program components and processes.
- Support engineering in manufacturability, cost and lead time as it relates to customer request for quote with focus on accuracy and turnaround time to support sales and business development.
- Rapid response for operational or test failure and recovery support fully utilizing our global manufacturing footprint to better support customer needs.
- Change Notice implementation with a specific focus on multi‑site needs for Change Notice communication driven by program changes.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- E1(MRP) experience is preferred.
- Continuous/Process Improvement experience is preferred.
- Operations Support experience within a manufacturing and/or aerospace environment is preferred.
