• Provide engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems of increasing scope and complexity.
• Contribute to team decision‑making in the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities.
• Deal with changing priorities and differing situations and make decisions that may affect the work of the team.
• Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches related to well‑defined problems and analysis of increasing scope and complexity.
• Conduct engineering and related studies.
• Complete routine engineering projects with minimal oversight and increase ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces; progressively competent to design, operate and maintain systems with moderate impact on existing systems.
• Possess and apply fundamental concepts, practices and procedures, and be proficient in technical and analytical competencies.
• Develop positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain accurate records and files, and support the company’s goals and represent the company positively and professionally.

• Graduation from a four‑year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program. A master’s degree in engineering can be considered in lieu of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.

• Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam.
• Increasing proficiency in principles of project management.
• Experience in the utility industry.
• Department‑specific experience applicable to the hiring department.
• Demonstrated advancement in the application of engineering theories and principles.
• Increasing proficiency in the practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, preparing and presenting recommendations.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

• Hybrid Mobility Classification.
• Travel Requirements: 15–25%.
• Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable).
