Research Engineer - Senior Staff | Lockheed Martin

Provide engineering expertise support to legacy products, new products, development, and testing of equipment associated with Precision Effects and UXS. Provide technical guidance. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Work with team to develop payload capability standards that meet customer requirements.

B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or 5+ years experience working in ME or related field. Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

Experience working in U.S. Army Special Operations Command. M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Active SECRET clearance.

This position is in Fort Bragg, NC. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
