The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Wake County to draft and check highway structure plans for design, rehabilitation, preservation and repairs.
The role requires interpreting structure plans, calculating quantities, and using CAD tools such as Open Bridge Modeler, along with spreadsheets and word processors.
A two-year associate degree in Engineering Technology or Survey Technology is required, with related work experience preferred.
