Maintenance Specialist Staff
The Maintenance Specialist Staff plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This position leads equipment modification initiatives and supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies across plant operations. The role partners with engineering, maintenance, operations, and external service providers to drive safe, cost-effective, and reliable equipment performance.

What You Will Do
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, analyze equipment and product performance issues, and recommend solutions to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Identify unacceptable equipment performance and implement corrective actions using technical expertise and data analysis.
- Assist with project activities including cost estimating, budget preparation, project justification, design review, installation, and commissioning.
- Research and evaluate new equipment, systems, and technologies to advance plant operations and maintenance effectiveness.
- Support environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance through maintenance strategy reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
- Participate in contractor management activities and ensure compliance with safe work practices, standard operating procedures, and site requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree 9 + years of experience working with multidisciplinary engineering/maintenance associates.
- 4+ years of experience working with engineering and maintenance associates in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, computerized layout systems, and database management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, team development, and project coordination skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and welding applications with a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
