Business Manager

The Business Manager oversees the program's financial and business operations, ensuring effective financial management, contractual compliance, and operational performance. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, cost control, resource planning, and risk management while supporting the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and program objectives.

• Oversee the financial and business operations of the program, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and organizational objectives.
• Manage program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource planning.
• Monitor financial results and operational metrics, identify risks, trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
• Ensure accurate financial reconciliation, reporting, and maintenance of internal controls.
• Prepare and deliver timely financial, operational, and management reports to program leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, financial policies, regulatory standards, and organizational procedures.
• Partner with program leadership to support strategic planning, business analysis, and informed decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks while implementing corrective actions as needed.
  
  Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to financial processes, reporting, and business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resource utilization and successful program delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing financial systems, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and internal controls for programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing financial operations, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience ensuring compliance with financial policies, contractual requirements, and internal control standards.

• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Experience with financial reporting systems and reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to leadership and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and financial management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
