The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.

A qualified candidate will possess the ability to effectively educate students in the classroom and laboratory settings and to provide hands-on training for skills necessary in physical therapy are critical to experiencing success in this position. Duties

DUTIES:
The successful candidate will:

* Assist with interactive laboratory classes both on and off campus.

* Provide input in practical assessments, skills check-offs, and oral presentations.

* Complete ordering of supplies and equipment.

* Prepare and teach didactic portion of classes.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and active licensure in North Carolina as a PTA or PT. Candidates must be in good standing with the NC Board of PT Examiners. Communication, both oral and written, and computer skills necessary. Three years of clinical experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in Physical Therapy and teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. Experience as a clinical educator in physical therapy.
