We’re hiring a Veteran Recruiter to support a growing military-focused recruiting initiative. This role focuses on connecting transitioning service members with leadership-driven opportunities in the private sector. This is not transactional recruiting — it’s relationship-based, mission-aligned talent acquisition.

About the Role

You’ll partner with military transition resources and internal stakeholders to identify high-potential candidates, assess fit, and guide them through the recruiting process from initial outreach through onboarding support.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with military transition resources and veteran networks
  • Source high-caliber candidates through military communities and targeted platforms
  • Represent the organization at veteran hiring events and transition programs
  • Conduct behavioral interviews to evaluate leadership, performance history, and growth potential
  • Assess candidate alignment, readiness, and geographic flexibility
  • Manage candidates through a structured recruiting funnel
  • Track weekly metrics, interviews, and pipeline progress
  • Partner with internal leadership to align recruiting outcomes with growth goals
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of full-cycle or high-volume recruiting experience
  • Experience working with veterans, military populations, or leadership development programs preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Required Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with military professionals
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Results-driven mindset with consistent follow-through
  • Self-starter able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and professional discretion
  • Comfortable managing multiple pipelines and performance metrics
