Platform Engineer
Platform Engineer at Booz Allen drives mission‑forward change by leveraging the latest cloud and container technologies to improve client environments. You will support strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process and recommend secure resources for clients while strengthening your Dev Ops skills.
Responsibilities- Utilize cloud technologies and container software to improve client environments and enable seamless orchestration.
- Support strategy and design, ensuring standards are met during containerization.
- Recommend resources that help clients manage and securely adopt containers, and support development of critical cloud platforms.
- 3+ years of experience managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining platforms and integration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, EKS, and Ceph.
- Experience with containerization technologies, micro‑service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including Git Lab.
- Experience writing automation and provisioning scripts such as Ansible playbooks, Linux automation, Windows Power Shell, or basic API integrations.
- Experience administering storage and networking environments and performing network and requirement analysis, system availability reviews, and risk assessments.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Experience migrating applications in hybrid cloud, disconnected, or air‑gapped environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise air‑gapped environments.
- Experience with configuration management and Git‑centric CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code environments and practices.
- Knowledge of the ZT technology ecosystem, including ZTNA, IDP, DLP, EDR, XDR, MFA, data tagging, or compliance to connection (C2C).
- Knowledge of leading ICAM solutions, including Ping, AD, or LDAP, and how they are part of the ZT ecosystem.

CompensationSalary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
