Position Summary

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the successful delivery of complex AI systems, applications, and model development projects. As a TPM, you will serve as a bridge between multiple technical teams, product management, and stakeholders, operating in a fast-paced, globally distributed company. Crucially, this role requires a strong technical foundation – the ability to understand and articulate complex technical details is essential for effective communication and problem-solving with our engineering and data science teams.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and stakeholders, to drive project delivery. Understand the big-picture and the system level to answer questions and clarify requirements.
  • Risk Management:

    Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Communication:
    Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and issues.
  • Project Monitoring and Control:
    Track project metrics, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as needed.
