ServiceNow Platform Engineer

Requirements

• We require a bachelors degree, or at least 4 additional years of equivalent professional experience.
• We are looking for 5+ years of experience in application development planning, ITSM, and Service Now.
• We value hands-on knowledge of Service Now configuration and customization across areas such as ITSM, CSM, Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, GRC/IRM, SAM, ITBM, and ITOM.
• Familiarity with user experience tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences is preferred.
• Experience working with web services, REST, and JSONv2 is important.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills are required.
• Candidates must be available to work directly as our employees.

• We manage and resolve issues within Service Now applications.
• We advise internal teams and business units on process gaps and technology inefficiencies in the platform.
• We perform routine maintenance, including performance tracking and error detection and remediation.
• We improve platform stability by identifying and applying best practices.
• We address technical debt through effective Service Now remediation approaches.
• We oversee instance security, user and group access, roles, related relationships, and ACLs.
• We provide training and knowledge sharing across the platform to our internal team and external business partners.
• We develop reporting strategies and maintain platform-wide reporting.
• We analyze, design, and develop systems based on user requirements.
• We support complex technical matters with technical and consultative expertise.
