Position: Seasonal Workday Functional Analyst (Payroll & Benefits)

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Peter Millar was founded in 2001 with a single cashmere sweater offered in 24 colors. Based in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, the American lifestyle brand has grown to include luxury performance sportswear, seasonal resort and country club apparel, sophisticated classics, casually refined tailored clothing and sartorial accessories.

We strive to capture timeless style upgraded with signature innovations, in designs that are in tune with modern life. We embrace working hard, being kind and doing right by our customers, aiming to set a higher standard for the apparel industry.

The Workday Functional Analyst (Payroll & Benefits) is responsible for supporting the ongoing optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Peter Millar’s Workday platform, with a primary focus on Payroll and Benefits functionality. Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Payroll and Benefits, HRIS Manager, and HR teams, this role serves as the functional expert for the Workday Payroll and Benefits module, partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system optimization, resolve complex issues, implement new functionality, and improve business processes.

Rather than performing routine payroll processing or day-to-day benefits administration, this position focuses on enhancing the technology, configuration, and workflows that support those functions. The Workday Functional Analyst also serves as the primary backup to the HRIS Manager and contributes to broader HR technology initiatives including system enhancements, testing, reporting, integrations, security administration, and Workday roadmap planning. This is a seasonal 3-month position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs and individual performance.

While not required, we strongly prefer candidates who are able to work on‑site and be actively involved with the team in person.
