Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Allant Federal is seeking an experienced Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator
to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise computers, mobile devices, telecommunications equipment, and related IT systems. This role supports classified, unclassified, and special communications networks across multiple locations. The Systems Administrator will collaborate with IT professionals, developers, and customer stakeholders to resolve technical issues, maintain secure configurations, and support reliable mission operations.

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and related IT equipment.
• Maintain desktop and mobile device configurations in accordance with approved configuration baselines, including patches, IAVAs, operating systems, COTS, GOTS, and internally developed applications.
• Use Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Active Directory to deploy system images, troubleshoot technical issues, manage user profiles, and modify group memberships.
• Use mobile device management software to monitor, manage, configure, and secure customer mobile devices.
• Build and deploy mobile solutions based on customer and mission requirements.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution across multiple locations and networks.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for POTS telephone equipment and Cisco Call Manager devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, connectivity, access, and permissions-related issues.
• Coordinate with other IT professionals to resolve cross-team technical issues and track system changes.
• Document, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests through an established ticketing system.
• Support configuration and change activities affecting classified, unclassified, and special communications networks.
• Collaborate with CRM and SharePoint developers to resolve content management, access, and permissions-related issues.

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required at the beginning of employment and must be maintained.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in network and computer systems administration, enterprise IT support, or a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and current Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience installing, configuring, operating, troubleshooting, and repairing personal computers, terminals, peripheral equipment, and associated software.
• Experience with SCCM and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting VPN technologies.
• Experience configuring and supporting Android and Apple iOS devices.
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager.
• Experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and active-listening skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively identify and address technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, developers, and end users.
