Material Handler; Weekend Shift - MCC Final - Fayetteville, NC

A qualified material handler will support Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division on the weekend shift (Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) at the Fayetteville, NC location. The position involves forklift or power equipment operations, material handling, inventory control, and documentation. The base hourly pay is $18.40 with an 11.12 % shift premium for C‑shift assignments.

• Operate forklift or power equipment to move and store a variety of materials, parts, or products.
• Unload incoming materials from trailers and vehicles.
• Transport items from the incoming staging area or finished‑goods staging area to the storage area.
• Store, stack, and arrange material while maintaining related documentation.
• Operate overhead crane or hoist (for crane‑certified associates) to move material.
• Verify, identify, and quantify items received against purchase orders.
• Visually inspect and count incoming parts, materials, and supplies to detect shortages, damages, broken packages, and other defects.
• Complete related documentation and move or expedite material to the proper department.
• Pull material and package for delivery to service centers.
• Use the Kan Ban system to order and replenish materials.

• Visually inspect for damaged material.
• Safely and efficiently deliver materials to storeroom or POU locations.
• Notify internal customers of receipts or products marked for their attention.
• Maintain working relationships with internal customers.
• Receive P.O.s in system and separate AML material from non‑AML.
• Sort and disperse returned material while maintaining all documentation.
• Unload trucks and check freight bills accordingly, verifying material against packing lists.
• Pull parts from the storeroom as needed for service‑center packing, ensuring packaging standards are met to prevent loss or damage.
• Process internal Kanban cards and assist with the maintenance of the Kanban system.

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Fayetteville, NC (Active‑Duty military members are exempt from this limitation).
• Experience in material handling within a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift operation experience in either stand‑up or sit‑down capacity.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with other departments and ensure timely delivery of parts and components.
• Ability to flex into other departments as needed to meet customer and Eaton expectations.
• Proficiency with AS400, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Vista.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints to identify parts and components.
• Experience using handheld scanners to track inventory in Shipping & Receiving.
