The Cabinet Shop Technician is responsible for assembling, modifying, repairing, and preparing cabinets to meet job-specific requirements. This position performs custom fabrication for specialty applications, operates a variety of woodworking tools and equipment, and assists with general warehouse and shop operations as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical ability, and experience working with cabinetry or woodworking equipment.

• Assemble & Prepare Cabinets:
  Assemble cabinets and prepare completed cabinets for wrapping and delivery.
• Specialty Cabinet Preparation:
  Modify and prepare cabinets for specialty installations, including farm sinks, wall ovens, appliances, and other job-specific requirements.
• Cabinet Repair:
  Inspect and repair damaged or defective cabinets as needed.
• Custom Fabrication:
  Fabricate custom or specialty cabinet pieces based on project requirements.
• Woodworking Equipment:
  Safely operate a variety of powered woodworking tools and equipment.
• Measurement & Modification:
  Accurately measure, cut, drill, modify, and assemble cabinet components.
• Truck Unloading & Material Handling:
  Assist with unloading incoming trucks and properly handling cabinet products and materials.
• Shop Organization & Safety:
  Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop/work area and follow company safety procedures and equipment-use requirements.
• Communication & Quality:
  Communicate with warehouse, design, service, and other team members regarding cabinet modifications or job requirements. Identify potential quality or fabrication issues before products are sent to the job site.
• Other Duties:
  Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Previous cabinet assembly, woodworking, carpentry, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate powered woodworking equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to read measurements accurately and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make cabinet repairs or modifications.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Brock Cabinets' driving requirements.
• Dependable attendance and ability to manage multiple shop priorities.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The employee must be able to safely lift and maneuver cabinets, cabinet components, tools, and materials with assistance when appropriate. The position also requires regular use of hand and power tools and the ability to work in a warehouse/shop environment.
