This position is located at WOMACK Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, NC. Womack, we are a fully accredited 110‑bed, evidence‑based regional medical center and GME facility serving Fort Bragg, the home of Airborne and Special Operations and the largest U.S. Army installation in the world. We manage several outstanding Primary Care practice sites located in Fort Liberty, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks.

Womack is located in Fayetteville, Fort Liberty which is 2 hours from the beach and 5 hours from the Appalachian Mountains with easy access to I‑95 and all points north and south. This central North Carolina location enjoys seasonably palatable weather year‑round. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner you will:

• Provide leadership and direction to the neonatal critical care and newborn care services within the Department of Maternal Child Health and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Provide wide range of direct patient care services within the evolving profession of the advanced practice Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
• Lead and coordinate delivery of critical care to neonates to include assessing patient acuity.
• Manage neonatal emergencies, leading the resuscitation team in the acute stabilization and life‑saving management of critically ill neonates.
• Provide emergency interventional support in specialized therapeutic or diagnostic procedures for critically ill neonates.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care by communicating with Pediatric Specialists and Obstetric physicians regarding patient management and establishing care plans for patients.
• Provide counseling to families regarding anticipated need for intervention and prognosis of conditions of patient.

• Candidate must have a current, active, valid certificate, unrestricted license, or authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
• Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed.
