American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (night shift) position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital in North Carolina, requiring a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 733 staffed beds, designated as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope required, including potential float to sister campus depending on booking
• No on-call required
• Charting in Epic (experience required)

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• 13-week contract, night shift
• Scrub color: royal blue and white
• Pre-start orientation modules required (approximately 4–10 hours)
• Only 1 holiday approval per contract; candidates should plan accordingly
• RTO is permitted at manager's discretion, up to a maximum of 4 days per contract
• Travelers on night shift may extend up to twice before being required to be away for at least 6 months before returning
• Previous employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
