American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital, requiring Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience.

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a 733-bed Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope to like units or a sister campus may be required based on facility needs
• Charting via Epic (experience required)

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Royal blue and white scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position
• Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to the first day (estimated 4–10 hours)
• RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days per contract
• Only one holiday off can be approved per contract
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning
• Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
