Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Department

Compensation: $20,000 Commitment Bonus (2 Years)

Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts, Full‑Time Nights (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)

Location: Maria Parham Medical Center, Henderson, NC

Organization: Maria Parham Health, part of Lifepoint Health.

Provide direct patient care in the Medical Surgical Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Report to the Director or Manager of the Medical Surgical Department.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Preferred certifications: PALS, ACLS, and Hands‑On Care
