$2,000 Sign‑On Bonus Eligible
Every day, you will interact with donors, ensuring a high‑quality plasma collection that becomes life‑changing medicine. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and support plasma center operations as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse).
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility by managing informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self‑exclusion; conducting medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance on medical/technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
- Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and assess the need for further evaluation by occupational health or ER; follow EHS guidance.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations of pandemic threats in the local community.
- Familiarize oneself with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment.
- Follow Bio Life Medical Affairs guidance and provide center‑level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a graduate‑equivalent recognized nursing program with state requirements.
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Complete FDA‑approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation and BenefitsU.S. Hourly Wage Range: $25.60 – $35.20
The actual hourly wage offered depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and state or local minimum wage requirements.
