Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care in psychiatric outpatient settings, assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing appropriate treatments for patients with mental health disorders.
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry
- Current Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
- Valid state nursing license
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medication regimens
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations and standar
