American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a night shift MS/Tele unit requiring 2 years of experience and EPIC proficiency.

• Work on a Behavioral Health/MS/Tele unit in a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• 13-week assignment on night shift (4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Requires taking an EKG exam as part of clinical readiness
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within scope of practice to like units or sister campus depending on booking
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active RN license (NC state or compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide behavioral health nursing care within an MS/Tele unit setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
• Returning travelers must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning to this facility
• Extension limits apply: day shift travelers may extend once, night shift travelers may extend up to twice, after which a 6-month break is required before reapplying
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 4 days and is subject to manager's discretion
• Only 1 holiday can be approved for time off
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue and white
