- Perform the measurements and laboratory tests for:
- Purchased parts, semi-finished parts, finished parts according to control plan
- PPAP parts
- Support R&D
- Product audits
- Support problem investigation
- Manage the calibration system of production & quality measuring and testing devices.
- Measure components according to customer specification and relevant standards.
- Support the proper use of SPC in production according to the control plan.
- Supporting MSA if required.
- In case of non-conforming product, report immediately to requestor for further disposition.
- Advise on proper measurement methods, equipment and identification of characteristics on drawings to support measurements.
- Additional duties as assigned
- A minimum of 2 years professional experience
- Ability to interpret drawings and requirements for ensuring the adherence to agreed Quality parameters
- Expertise in performing tests referring to the laboratory scope
- Expertise in the calibration of test equipment
