SMX is seeking a motivated Intelligence Operations Specialist to support high-priority special operations missions. In this dynamic role, you will provide advanced intelligence analysis and operational support within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in intelligence operations, cross-functional coordination, and knowledge of global security threats. This position requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

- Conduct all-source intelligence analysis to support operational planning and decision-making
- Fuse information from multiple intelligence disciplines (SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, OSINT) to create actionable products
- Draft concise, impactful intelligence assessments, briefings, and reports for operational and command-level audiences
- Support the integration and exploitation of captured materials, open-source data, and digital media
- Collaborate with interagency stakeholders, tactical units, and partner nation liaisons to synchronize intelligence efforts
- Assist in targeting, vulnerability assessments, and mission planning activities as required
- Maintain awareness of emerging global threats and provide timely recommendations to mission leaders
- Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures regarding the handling of sensitive material
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, National Security, International Relations, or related field (experience may substitute for education)
- 5+ years of relevant all-source intelligence experience supporting operational or expeditionary missions; experience with special operations is highly desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency in the fusion of multiple intelligence sources and tools
- Excellent communication skills, with experience briefing senior leaders
- Ability to work effectively in high-tempo, sensitive environments and as part of a geographically dispersed team
- Willingness to travel or deploy as required by mission
- Experience supporting tactical or theater-level special operations
- Familiarity with sensitive site exploitation, technical exploitation, or document/media exploitation
- Proficiency with intelligence analysis software and databases
- Prior deployment experience in support of US national security objectives
SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications. The proposed salary for this position is $81,000—$128,000 USD.
