Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking a Security Specialist to provide physical security support, access control management, and administrative security functions for Army facilities. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Army Physical Security policy, excellent customer service skills, and experience supporting security operations in a military environment.
Responsibilities- Implement and enforce Army Physical Security policies, procedures, and access control requirements.
- Manage security documentation and contractor staff information in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Submit, track, and coordinate Fort Bragg Form 975 actions with the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), Physical Security Division.
- Maintain proficiency with DISS systems and manage user account updates, certifications, and security data.
- Provide clear instructions and accurate directions to visitors while maintaining proper security protocols.
- Conduct physical security inspections, identify deficiencies, and support corrective actions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to maintain reports, records, and security‑related documentation.
- Deliver customer service support to personnel and visitors, ensuring efficient and professional interaction.
- Coordinate with military leadership and security personnel to support ongoing mission requirements.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving physical security issues, ensuring compliance with Army standards.
- Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required - Associate degree OR Six years of military experience OR Five years of physical security experience
- Knowledge of Army Physical Security policies and procedures
- Familiarity with customer service principles and practices
- Experience submitting Fort Bragg Form 975 to the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), Physical Security Division
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage contractor staff information
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
- Ability to provide accurate instructions and directions to visitors
- Completed DISS training and certifications required for user account access
- Five years of experience in Army physical security activities
- Knowledge of physical security concepts, theories, principles, and practices
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and resolving physical security issues
