TMPC is seeking a Senior Declassification Reviewer / Team Lead to lead automatic declassification activities supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Records Management and Automatic Declassification Program.

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • SCI eligibility.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CNWDI, Restricted Data (RD), and Formerly Restricted Data (FRD) access.
  • Completion of the Department of Energy Historical Records Restricted Data Reviewers (HRRDR) course.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of:
    • Executive Order 13526
    • National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
    • DoD Information Security Program
  • Ability to lift archival boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in cold-storage archival environments.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite at NARA in College Park, Maryland.
Experience Sought
  • 10+ years supporting Federal records management, classified records review, or automatic declassification programs.
  • Extensive experience interpreting Executive Order 13526.
  • Experience reviewing classified national security information.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing technical teams.
  • Experience working within NARA Interagency Referral Center (IRC) environments preferred.
  • Experience coordinating interagency referrals and classification determinations.
  • Strong written communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience developing declassification guidance and quality control procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate a team conducting page-by-page declassification reviews of permanent Federal records.
  • Ensure reviews are completed accurately and within established production goals.
  • Review documents containing Top Secret, SCI, Restricted Data (RD), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD), and Critical Nuclear Weapons Design Information (CNWDI).
  • Identify agency equities and coordinate referrals to appropriate Federal agencies.
  • Maintain compliance with Executive Order 13526 and applicable DoD security regulations.
  • Provide technical oversight of document review activities conducted within secure NARA facilities.
  • Prepare and submit monthly production and referral reports.
  • Lead development and maintenance of the DISA Declassification Guide.
  • Mentor junior reviewers and provide technical guidance on classification determinations.
  • Coordinate activities with DISA Records Officers, NARA personnel, and Government leadership.
  • Maintain accurate updates within the Document Declassification Support System (DDSS).
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and implementing best practices throughout the declassification program.
