HVAC Service Technician

Bass Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service residential and light commercial customers across the Fayetteville, NC area. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, perform seasonal tune-ups, and assist with equipment installations. You'll use your technical skills and safety mindset to provide reliable, energy-efficient solutions while delivering clear, courteous communication to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and system tune-ups
• Install and start up HVAC equipment and components as needed
• Use meters and diagnostic tools to identify system issues safely
• Explain findings, options, and maintenance recommendations to customers
• Document work performed, parts used, and system condition accurately
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures on every job
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet schedule commitments
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs
