Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Journeyman Commercial Plumbers & Pipe fitters to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in Plumbing & Piping systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Journeymen will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing & piping systems function efficiently and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing/piping systems in commercial buildings.
• Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Perform pipe threading and assemble various types of piping systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber, Pipefitter or similar role in the plumbing industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Familiarity with teardown & rebuild projects is a plus.
• Experience working on large commercial construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
• Skills in welding are beneficial for specific plumbing tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time.
