Salary Range: $32.00 To $40.00 Hourly
DIESEL TECHNICIAN / MECHANICImmediately hiring Permanent-Full Time Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Liberty Waste Solutions :
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service.
- Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
- Welding and fabrication skills a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Advanced analytical and repair skills
- Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience
- Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- M ust be reliable and punctual
- Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others
