We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services across K–12 school settings within Cumberland County Schools. In this role, you will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver therapy, and document all services in accordance with physician orders and professional standards.
This is an in-person position serving diverse student needs across multiple school locations. Our Lead SLP is actively reviewing and locking in candidates for the current and 2026–2027 school year, with opportunities to build strong working relationships early.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services in alignment with physician orders and educational goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, administrators, and families.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the student support team.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; may be required based on contract/state rules.
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
