Family Diversion Screener
Role Description and Responsibilities:
Gladden is looking for a skilled person with experience screening clients over the phone and linking them to resources. The majority of the calls will be from clients seeking information about rental assistance and how to access the assistance. The other responsibility of the Screener is to provide support to Gladden’s Family Diversion team. The Diversion team receives calls from the Homeless Hotline from families seeking shelter.
Some of those families can be referred to Gladden’s in-house Homeless Prevention program. These families need to be called and a screening form needs to be completed before the client is contacted by a Homelessness Prevention case manager. The Screener will be trained to use the Community Shelter Board’s HMIS database to access and enter client information.
Education and Experience:
BA required in a human service-related field.
Experience working with families struggling with housing stability preferred.
Background check and drug test.
Compensation and Benefits:

- Time Salaried Position.
Gladden offers 20 vacation days per year at hire and 25 days per year after three years of employment. Staff earn 1 sick day each month and 3 personal days a year.
