Software Engineer – Full Stack
As a full‑stack software engineer you will maintain and execute a network of simulators and modeling capabilities that provide rehearsal and exercise capabilities for various units. These simulators are located throughout the country and the client’s engineering team is responsible for managing the network, maintaining an Authority to Connect (ATC), improving system design and architecture, performing tier 1 – 3 troubleshooting during operations, managing hardware installs, lifecycle management, software releases and deployments, adding new features, and driving innovation.
The software engineering team compiles and runs the provided source code, sets up CI/CD pipelines, breaks down operational requirements for the simulator into manageable tasks or features in Jira, implements those tasks or features using various programming languages, assists in innovation initiatives, improves skills through training opportunities, integrates with other applications and simulations, and creates or improves the development environment.
You will operate on an Agile Scrum team, communicate daily, and may be required to provide onsite support when needed. Growth opportunities and innovation on simulation systems are integral to this role.
You Have- Experience with Java, C++, or C#
- Experience working on simulation systems
- Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience administering CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Hub Actions
- Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) networking protocol
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or SQL
- Experience in virtualization
- Experience in Dev Sec Ops
- Experience working with Jira
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of MVRsimulation's Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG)
- Knowledge of BSI's software MACE

CompensationProjected salary range: $86,800.00 – $ (annualized US$). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, experience, contract requirements, and organizational needs. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
