Position Summary

In this role you will be responsible for the overall production support of clinical applications in a variety of languages using a diverse toolset. You will drive exceptional services to CVS Health clients, identify ways to continuously improve on the services provided, and communicate updates to senior leaders. As a key member of the Production Support Services team, you will partner with our Business and Account Management team and our internal IT teams to lead and support the services we deliver to our external clients.
You will serve as the single point of contact between the business and technical teams, monitor, and provide status of production issues.
- Provide overall production support for clinical applications in multiple languages and toolsets.
- Drive exceptional client service, continuously improve services, and provide communication and updates to senior leaders.
- Partner with Business, Account Management, and internal IT teams to deliver and support services.
- Serve as the single point of contact between business and technical teams, monitoring and reporting production issues.
- 10+ years of production support experience in a large-scale and diverse environment.
- Hands‑on experience providing AI solutions for automating and eliminating production issues.
- Hands‑on experience with SRE concepts and implementation.
- Hands‑on experience in Incident, Request and Change Management.
- Hands‑on experience developing and debugging .NET based applications, AngularJS or ASP.NET or C# or
- Experience in Backend Webservices and Windows Services.
- Experience with version control and build tools (TFS).
- Experience with Active Batch or similar workload automation and enterprise job scheduling.
- ITIL qualified and expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines.
- Experience with all aspects of the software development process including coding, systems, data analysis, testing, and operations.
- Experience with major database management systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Expertise in Log4
Net, Signal, Alt Soft, Castle, XEngine, ir Author, inRule, Dev Express, Win Forms, Biz Talk, Elastic Search, Kibana, SSIS, and SSRS. - Ability to debug complex system problems across application, server, communication, and networking components.
- Strong communication skills for facilitating meetings with both technical and business audiences.
- Self‑motivation to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
- Decisiveness and good judgment in ambiguous circumstances.
- Experience supporting proprietary and vendor‑developed or supported applications.
- Demonstrated successful completion of technical projects and proficiency on all phases of SDLC.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- High degree of self‑motivation and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare, PBM, Medicare, or Med‑D.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
CompensationThe typical pay range for this role is $83,430.00 to $. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program.
