Responsibilities
- Safely drive truck to transport plants to customers at specified locations
- Verify shipments against invoices to insure quantities are correct
- Obtain signed invoices and payments for materials
- Perform all physical activities to load and unload trucks
- Promote and maintain good customer relationships
- Take an active role in communication and customer feedback to management including customer complaints, requests, and returns
- Employee must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass DOT medical exam
- Ability to perform physical requirements necessary to load and unload trucks i.e. standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting plant materials up to 100 lbs
- Experience driving straight trucks, flatbeds, box vans, or truck and trailer combinations
