Assigned to support the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB), the Material Coordinator supports wholesale supply chain functions to include utilizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to maintain stock records and other inventory, materiel control, accounting and supply reports. Establishes and maintains accounting records, posts goods receipts and turn-ins. Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents.
Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes and stores or issues incoming materials and equipment.

MAJOR JOBACTIVITIES:
- Provides required retail supply services (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, and IX).
- Establishes and maintains accounting records, posts goods receipts and turn‑ins.
- Performs analysis of history and activity files pertinent to ERP system rejected documents.
- Processes inventories and warehousing documents.
- Plans and organizes receipt, issue, storage and maintenance of records for all classes of supply except CL III (Bulk), CL V and CL VIII.
- Stores and pulls Material Release Orders (MROs) for all Class II, IV, VII, and IX items (ASL and Excess) in accordance with SSA internal procedures, AR 710‑2 and DA PAM 710 2‑2.
- Performs all necessary inventory and warehouse management functions associated with Stock Control in accordance with AR 710‑2, AR 725‑50, DA PAM 710 2‑2, ARIMS.
- Performs COSIS ensuring that materials are maintained in ready‑for‑issue condition or to prevent uneconomic deterioration.
- Locates and moves materials and parts between work areas of plant to support processing of goods according to predetermined schedules and priorities.
- Keeps related record and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials, locates and moves materials to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
- Supports requirements for personnel handling certified hazardous shipments.

- MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
- Standard office equipment, associated computer applications, Material Handling Equipment – Pallet jack.
- WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas.
- Work will typically be in a temperature‑controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
- There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
- PHYSICAL
ACTIVITIES: - Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. (If it weighs more than 50lbs., use a “two‑person lift,” or a mechanical lift system).
- Work will require stooping/climbing/prolonged standing/prolonged sitting and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.
- Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules.
