Assigned to support the 82 nd Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB), the Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving and unloading incoming goods, verifying goods with documentation, and process the documentation in accordance with local policies. Must have knowledge of current automated system, warehousing methods, procedures and techniques, and utilize this to stack, palletize, and arrange items in stock locations. Other duties include: verifying materials or merchandise against receiving documents;
receives, stores, stacks, or palletizes materials, and removes material from storage and prepares it for shipping; supports wholesale supply chain functions to include: receiving and processing incoming assets from various supply sources, storage, inventory, packing, packaging, transportation, repair cycle support, cargo movement/planning, and demilitarization of equipment/parts prior to disposal action. Locates and moves materials and parts between work areas of plant to expedite processing of goods according to predetermined schedules and priorities and keeps related record and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders.
Confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials, locates and moves materials to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand. Must be prepared to perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Support Activity (SSA) Supervisor in order to meet organizational/operational objectives.

MAJOR JOB
ACTIVITIES:
Provides required retail supply services (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, and IX).
Establishes and maintains accounting records, posts goods receipts and turn-ins.
Performs analysis of history and activity files pertinent to ERP system rejected documents
Processes inventories, and warehousing documents
Plans and organizes receipt, issue, storage and maintenance of records for all classes of supply except CL III (Bulk), CL V and CL VIII
Stores and pulls Material Release Orders (MROs) for all Class II, IV, VII, and IX items (ASL and Excess) in accordance with SSA internal procedures, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710 2-2.
Performs all necessary inventory and warehouse management functions associated with Stock Control in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 725
-50, DA PAM 710 2-2, ARIMS.Performs COSIS ensuring that materials are maintained in ready-for-issue condition or to prevent uneconomic deterioration
