Position SummaryThe Manager, Video serves as IFM's subject-matter expert and strategic leader for video, audio, and multimedia production, providing oversight for the planning, execution, quality, and continuous improvement of multimedia content across the organization. This role develops and executes IFM's video strategy, aligning production resources, workflows, technology, and priorities with organizational goals while delivering high-quality, engaging content that supports IFM's educational programs, marketing initiatives, partnerships, membership, exhibiting and sponsorship offerings, certification program, and broader business objectives.
The Manager, Video oversees the production of recorded medical education content, event recordings, marketing videos, podcasts, and other multimedia initiatives that support diverse internal and external audiences. Working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and external production partners, this position manages production capacity and resources, evaluates emerging technologies and production practices, establishes standards for quality and operational excellence, and ensures projects are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with IFM's mission and strategic priorities.
Under the direction of the Director, Events, this role is responsible for:

- Develops and implements IFM's video, audio, podcast, and multimedia strategy in alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.
- Serves as the organization's subject matter expert on video production, providing strategic guidance on production approaches, feasibility, resource planning, and industry best practices.
- Evaluates production capacity, organizational priorities, and resource requirements, recommending solutions to support current and future production needs.
- Researches and implements emerging technologies, production tools, and workflow improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, scalability, and audience engagement.
- Oversees the planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and evaluation of all video and multimedia projects from concept through final delivery.
- Manages video production resources, including staff, contractors, vendors, studio operations, equipment, technology platforms, and production budgets.
- Oversees studio operations, remote recording technologies, video asset management systems, archival processes, and content distribution platforms to ensure reliable, high-quality content creation and long-term accessibility.
- Provides hands-on production and post-production support during high-volume periods, staffing transitions, or critical organizational initiatives.
- Leads the production of recorded educational content, event recordings, marketing and mission-focused videos, promotional assets, and other multimedia initiatives.
- Leads the planning, recording, editing, production and distribution of podcast content, ensuring episodes are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and are prepared for distribution across designated platforms.
- Directs content capture in both studio and remote environments, ensuring high production value and technical excellence.
- Ensures recordings, edited content, contracted production assets, podcasts, promotional materials, and all post-production deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with established quality standards.
- Establishes and maintains organization-wide standards for video quality, visual storytelling, production workflows, accessibility, technical execution, and content delivery.
