Facade Designer​/Engineer

Our architecture firm in Washington is seeking a skilled and creative Facade Designer Engineer to join our team As a Facade Designer Engineer you will be responsible for designing and engineering the exterior facades of buildings ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional This position requires strong attention to detail technical expertise and a keen eye for design

• Collaborate with architects engineers and construction teams to develop facade designs that meet project requirements
• Use specialized software to create 2D and 3D models of facades
• Conduct feasibility studies and analysis of building materials for facade designs
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for facade construction
• Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and industry standards
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely completion of facade designs within budget constraints
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on design progress and address any concerns or changes

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Facade Designer Engineer
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Rhino or other specialized software
• Strong understanding of building materials construction techniques and structural principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
