Boo Ville Costume Character Wild Waves Theme & Waterpark Position Summary

Boo Ville Costume Characters are responsible for bringing the Boo Ville Zone to life by providing a fun, safe, and kid-friendly experience for guests ages 12 and under. This role focuses on interactive guest engagement, games, crafts, and character appearances while maintaining the highest standards of safety and guest service.

Team Members in this position help create memorable family experiences through positive interactions, playful energy, and teamwork.

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to interact positively with children and families
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional service to all guests
• Follow all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines outlined in the Team Member Handbook

• Support Wild Waves’ safety-first culture by maintaining a safe environment and following all safety guidelines

• Work collaboratively with fellow Boo Ville team members and leadership to ensure a positive experience

• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including Boo Ville spaces and dressing rooms

• Costume Character Performance:
  Wear provided Boo Ville costume and maintain a fun, kid-friendly character at all times
• Guest Interaction:
  Greet and interact with children and families, encouraging participation in Boo Ville activities
• Games & Crafts:
  Assist with Boo Ville games and crafts, encourage guest participation, and distribute candy or prizes as directed
• Guest Information:
  Provide basic information about Boo Ville activities and general park offerings
• Team Support:
  Work as part of the Boo Ville team to create a welcoming and engaging environment
• Cleanliness & Organization:
  Maintain cleanliness and organization of Boo Ville areas and costume/dressing rooms
• Other Duties:
  Perform additional duties as assigned based on department and park needs

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and crouching
• Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Work is primarily outdoors and subject to varying weather conditions
• Noise levels may range from moderate to high
• Ability to wear costume elements for extended periods
