Overview
Member of the US team originating and executing derivatives solutions for risk management and hedging purposes for US customers, including US corporates, US project finance/infrastructure customers, global leveraged finance/sponsors, and US private financing customers. Products include interest rate swaps, cross‑currency swaps and interest rate options.
Responsibilities- Work as part of a team originating and executing derivatives solutions for a corporate client base.
- Support and maintain a robust risk control environment.
- Accurately book all trading activities within the relevant systems.
- Timely follow up of trade queries to minimize the risk of errors.
- Promptly escalat all issues (e.g., breaches or losses) at time of discovery in line with policy.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare pitch books, pricing analysis, and client presentations.
- Negotiate ISDA documents.
- Work with internal partner areas such as Trading, Credit, Operations, and Relationship Management to ensure bank resources and client relationships are optimised.
- Promote NWM strategy to designated clients and provide market updates in writing and over the phone.
- Ensure activities comply with guidelines and policies, covering market, operational, credit, conduct and regulatory risks.
- Actively seek learning opportunities to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Undertake periodic business‑related projects to assist in the analysis and development of the business.
- Minimum of 2 years experience on the buy or sell side in an interest‑rate derivatives structuring or sales role with execution experience.
- Good understanding of XVA concepts (CVA, DVA, FVA).
- Self‑starter with a strong team ethic, passion to perform and ability to work under pressure.
- Core understanding of the regulatory environment affecting the interest‑rate derivatives market.
- High proficiency in MS Office suite and Bloomberg.
Base annual salary range: $135,000 – $170,000. Compensation may vary by skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications and location.
