Collaborating with various teams, the full-time Underwriter 3 will manage competitive bidding for employee benefits, analyze financial data, and maintain client relationships while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities- Execute competitive bidding of all employee benefits coverage lines
- Prepare financial and contractual analysis presentations in Power Point
- Collaborate with teams to evaluate and recommend coverage options and plan design changes
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in health and benefits on the broker or carrier side
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel proficiency
- High understanding of employee benefits funding mechanisms
- Familiarity with carrier reporting systems
- Experience with medium to large fully insured clients and understanding of self-funding preferred
