Job Description

At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. We do this by driving Responsible Growth and delivering for our clients, teammates, communities, and shareholders each day. Being a Great Place to Work is core to how we drive Responsible Growth. This includes our commitment to being an inclusive workplace, attracting and developing exceptional talent, supporting our teammates’ physical, emotional, and financial wellness, recognizing and rewarding performance, and how we make an impact in the communities we serve.

Bank of America is committed to an in‑office culture with specific requirements for office‑based attendance and an appropriate level of flexibility for our teammates and businesses based on role‑specific considerations.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses (Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7 and Series 66). Once you obtain your licenses, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor—from acquiring, building, and managing client relationships to considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions that help them live their best financial lives while humanizing financial interactions.

After reaching key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center where you will help to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and approach to client care. You will support and grow a portfolio of clients and advance into higher roles, including Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, with opportunities across Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.
